Terms and Conditions

Welcome to River Breeze Douro. By requesting a booking through our website or WhatsApp, the guest agrees to the following conditions:

1. Booking Process

  • Bookings are requested via WhatsApp. The stay is only considered confirmed after sending the proof of deposit payment (usually 50% of the total amount or another amount agreed upon at the time).

  • The remaining payment must be made up until the moment of check-in.

2. Cancellation and Refund Policy

  • Free Cancellation: The guest may cancel the booking with the right to a full refund of the deposit up to 14 days before the check-in date.

  • Late Cancellation: If the cancellation occurs less than 14 days in advance, the deposit amount will not be refunded.

  • In case of a no-show without prior notice, no refund will be issued.

3. Check-in and Check-out Times

  • Check-in: From 3:00 PM.

  • Check-out: Until 12:00 PM. (We can be flexible with these times subject to availability and prior notice).

4. Accommodation House Rules

  • Capacity: A number of people exceeding the maximum capacity defined in the booking is not permitted to stay.

  • Parties and Events: Holding parties or events that disturb the peace of the neighborhood or the integrity of the property is strictly prohibited.

  • Smoking: Smoking is not permitted inside the house.

  • Pets: Accepted subject to prior consultation.

5. Damages and Liability

  • The guest is responsible for any damage caused to the property, furniture, or equipment during their stay.

  • River Breeze Douro is not responsible for valuable objects left in the house or for accidents resulting from the misuse of the facilities (including stairs or outdoor areas).

6. Data Protection

  • The data collected for the booking is intended exclusively for billing purposes and compliance with the legal obligation to communicate with AIMA (formerly SEF).
